Widely recognized as the industry standard for architectural lighting designers and manufacturers, the Lighting Design Awards are now in their 11th year and command respect across the lighting community.
Lighting Design Awards 2013 – International Project (Exteriors):
National Stadium, Warsaw, Poland
Winner in the International Project (Exteriors) category was Lichtvision for its unique lighting design at Warsaw’s new National Stadium. Traxon’s lighting solution proved its flexibility in illuminating the stadium’s signature façade. This is comprised of white and red mesh panels, all slightly different to one another in shape, size, and the angle at which they are mounted.
Lighting Design Awards 2013 – Special Projects:
Strand East Tower, London, UK
Hoare Lea Lighting received the Special Projects award for illuminating the Strand East Tower. The lighting concept for this east London landmark was achieved through a Traxon lighting solution which comprises internally-located wash lighting, plus an external light layer formed by a dot matrix system.
